Salary: $54,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the editorial process for academic research journals within your domain of expertise.
• Organize the peer review process for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions.
• Handle email communication between all parties involved in the publication process.
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure efficient workflows.
• Ensure scholarly articles are accurately edited and published according to tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
• Must be based in Toronto for this in-office position.
• Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering).
• Demonstrated experience publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
