TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (Vue): Developing and refining user interfaces for real-time audio effects and music creation tools with an accent on Web Audio API integrations and browser performance. Focus on building high-performance UI components, optimizing rendering strategies, and implementing complex audio-visual interactions.

Location: Hybrid in Singapore (3 in-office days per week). Must be eligible to work in Singapore without visa or work pass sponsorship

What you will do

  • Build and refine UI components for real-time audio effects, including effect chains, presets, and Web Audio integrations.
  • Collaborate with audio and backend developers to define APIs and data structures for frontend consumption.
  • Create prototypes and develop user-facing features within cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize web applications to maximize performance and scalability across desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Develop performance monitoring and error tracking tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement new design patterns and refactoring.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Experience developing audio applications using the Web Audio API or highly interactive web applications.
  • Proficiency in Vue, HTML/CSS, and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Vite, Rollup, or Parcel.
  • Deep understanding of browser rendering optimization and UI frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte.
  • Eligibility to work in Singapore without visa or work pass sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with older UI frameworks/libraries such as AngularJS, jQuery, or vanilla JS.
