Accountant

What you will do

• Process daily financial transactions, including bank and cash entries, using the Integra accounting system.
• Prepare payments, bank letters, and transfers while ensuring complete supporting documentation.
• Maintain an efficient filing system for all financial, accounting, and contracting documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits to process program-related payments and participate in cash distributions.
• Perform bi-weekly and month-end cash counts and assist with finance reconciliations.
• Provide support during audits and donor visits by ensuring timely submission of requested documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in finance or administration.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience working in a complex environment, with NGO experience considered an advantage.
