What you will do

• Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary design organization, fostering a culture of growth and high-quality output.
• Define and execute a clear design vision for mobile and web experiences across the product ecosystem.
• Lead critiques and working sessions to elevate craft, interaction design, and systems thinking.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to align roadmap priorities while maintaining design authority.
• Steward the design system to ensure coherence and velocity as the product scales.
• Champion the integration of AI tools and workflows to improve design speed and personalization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software, product, or interaction design, ideally in consumer or health tech.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing and growing UX teams.
• Deep fluency in interaction design, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and systems thinking.
• Proven track record of improving experience quality through measurable product outcomes.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
• Must be based in Helsinki to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience with trust-sensitive products where emotional tone and clarity are critical.
• Fluency in high-fidelity interaction prototyping and motion design.
• Experience partnering with user researchers to pressure-test design directions.
• Active curiosity regarding AI tools and their impact on design practice.
