TL;DR

Application Support Specialist (Microsoft Dynamics 365): Providing comprehensive L1/L2 support for enterprise application systems, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with an accent on troubleshooting, system optimization, and cross-platform integrations. Focus on resolving complex technical issues for global staff, managing support tickets, and ensuring stability during system go-live periods.

Location: Onsite in Nairobi, Kenya

What you will do

  • Provide Level 1/2 support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with end-users, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization improvements.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets through the ticketing system.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and system configurations in the knowledge base for users and technical staff.
  • Support integrations between D365 F&O and systems such as Kyriba, Emburse, FastPath, and SK Global.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in application or functional support.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Experience supporting ERP or financial management systems.
  • Fluent English proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certification.
  • Experience with Workday, Power BI, and other enterprise tools.
  • Experience working in the NGO or nonprofit sector, especially in distributed or low-bandwidth environments.
