What you will do

• Uphold and evolve the game's visual identity, tone, and worldbuilding across characters, environments, and VFX.
• Partner with external development studios to coordinate art quality and establish efficient workflows.
• Perform paintovers and provide visual callouts to elevate assets to a AAA-quality bar.
• Collaborate with Tech Art and Design to ensure art is fully functional in-engine and meets performance standards.
• Coordinate with the IP holder to ensure all content aligns with established canon and visual guidelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional game art experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Experience working on AAA action RPGs, fantasy titles, or high-end mobile/PC RPGs.
• Deep expertise in real-time 3D game development and strong visual fundamentals.
• Experience navigating approval pipelines with established IPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for providing constructive feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience working with teams in China or across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with Unity pipelines and tooling.
• Passion for low-fantasy or grounded worlds.
• Mandarin proficiency.
