What you will do

• Uphold and evolve the game's visual identity, tone, and cohesive worldbuilding across characters, environments, and UI.
• Lead and coordinate with external development studios, including a Shanghai studio, to ensure AAA-quality output and efficient workflows.
• Perform paintovers and provide actionable visual feedback to elevate art quality and identify visual risks early.
• Collaborate with Tech Art, Design, and Production to ensure assets are fully functional in-engine and meet performance standards.
• Partner with IP holders to establish visual guidelines and ensure all content aligns with established canon.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional game art experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Experience working on AAA action RPGs, fantasy titles, or high-end mobile/PC action RPGs.
• Deep expertise in 3D game development and a strong understanding of real-time rendering.
• Strong visual fundamentals in composition, color, lighting, anatomy, and material definition.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom for hybrid or remote cooperation.

Nice to have

• Experience working with teams in China or across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with Unity pipelines and tooling.
• Passion for low-fantasy or grounded worlds.
• Mandarin proficiency.
