Junior Data Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
• Contribute to data governance practices using Unity Catalog.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and commercial teams on business challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing.
• Grow into owning components and deliveries as skills develop.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
• Basic programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational data concepts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a team setting.
• Must be able to work from the Stockholm office at least three days a week.

Nice to have

• Coursework or projects involving Spark, Databricks, or data pipelines.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Interest in data governance, data modeling, or streaming data.
