What you will do

• Shape and advance the data protection framework across the organization.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve data protection policies, standards, and controls.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and HR to embed strong data protection practices into operations.
• Advise on data handling, retention, sharing, transfers, and incident management.
• Drive global regulatory compliance and protect the company from internal and external data compromise.
• Implement and enhance the effectiveness of traditional and emerging data protection technologies.

Requirements

• Strong technical acumen to understand data flows, systems, and security controls to assess risk.
• Working knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures.
• Ability to interpret legal requirements and translate them into practical business controls.
• Strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
• Experience delivering training and guidance to senior stakeholders.
