Senior Technical Artist (Unity): Developing and implementing shaders, render features, and graphics pipeline solutions for a cross-platform PvP arena shooter with an accent on rendering optimization and technical art tooling. Focus on solving GPU/CPU performance bottlenecks and building automation tools for art and VFX teams.

Location: Remote, Yerevan, or Cyprus. Relocation package and assistance available for Armenia.

What you will do

• Develop and implement shaders, render features, and graphics pipeline solutions using Unity URP and C#.
• Optimize CPU, GPU, build size, and loading times.
• Optimize VFX (particles, destruction), UI, audio, and animations.
• Conduct R&D on new technologies and take full ownership from idea to post-release evaluation.
• Build tools and automation for artists, animators, VFX artists, and UI teams.
• Collaborate with the Art team to translate art requests into clear technical requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Unity and C#.
• Experience with midcore projects; shooter experience is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of rendering, lighting, reflections, and post-processing.
• Strong knowledge of Shader Graph and experience with GPU/CPU profiling.
• Experience optimizing particles and destruction systems.
• Experience with mobile, PC, and handheld platforms, including Steam Deck.

Nice to have

• Experience with ECS/DOTS.
• Work examples on GitHub.
