What you will do

• Develop and implement supplier quality plans, testing procedures, and risk-reduction methods for materials and components.
• Conduct supplier audits and maturity assessments to establish data-driven improvement plans.
• Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI) and ensure APQP deliverables (PPAP, PSW, MSA, Cpk, FMEA) meet requirements.
• Analyze supplier data to identify risks and propose effective mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Programmes on supplier-related commitments.
• Conduct incoming quality verification, validation, and testing of supplied products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a similar engineering field.
• Minimum 8+ years of extensive experience in a Quality Engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, FAI tools, and quality assurance methodologies (ISO 9001:2015).
• Proficiency with testing tools, equipment, and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be Emirati Talent.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer specifically within the Defence industry.
• ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification or similar.
• Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
