TL;DR

Operational Resilience Specialist (Risk Management): Designing and driving the firm-wide operational resilience framework to prevent and recover from severe disruptions with an accent on regulatory alignment (FINMA, DORA) and critical function mapping. Focus on overseeing severe scenario testing, challenging first-line controls, and ensuring global harmonization of resilience standards.

What you will do

  • Shape and drive the design of the operational resilience framework aligned with regulatory expectations and risk appetite.
  • Provide global 2nd Line of Defense leadership for Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management.
  • Lead the identification of critical functions and map end-to-end dependencies and impact tolerances.
  • Oversee the design and execution of severe but plausible scenario tests to validate recovery capabilities.
  • Govern the operational resilience lifecycle from risk identification to remediation, including root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Information Security, Compliance, and Internal Audit for an integrated approach.

Requirements

  • Senior-level expertise with at least 5 years' experience in Operational Resilience, BCM, or Non-financial Risk management.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks including FINMA and DORA.
  • Proven experience in scenario design, business impact analysis, and resilience testing.
  • Ability to challenge first-line stakeholders using evidence-based assessments.
  • Strong understanding of operational dependencies across technology, suppliers, and business processes.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Zurich, Switzerland.
