Salary: 250,000–400,000 RUB/month net

What you will do

• Develop mathematical models for HF communication channels, transmitters, and receivers using MATLAB or Python.
• Design digital downconverters and synchronization algorithms including carrier and timing recovery.
• Model FEC decoding and channel distortions such as Doppler, multipath, and noise.
• Simulate radio links to estimate range, noise immunity, and overall link quality.
• Prepare detailed algorithm specifications for FPGA implementation teams.
• Mentor middle engineers and conduct architecture and code reviews.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of DSP including FIR/IIR filters, FFT, and polyphase structures.
• Hands-on experience developing DSP algorithms for SDR or radio systems.
• Practical experience with HF communications, signal propagation, and interference mitigation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or Python (NumPy/SciPy) for algorithm prototyping.
• Experience verifying algorithms on real RF/IQ data and building automated test benches.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with FPGA/HDL teams.
