What you will do

• Lead the design and development of medical device software systems.
• Develop high-quality C/C++ applications within Linux environments.
• Ensure strict compliance with IEC 62304 and other medical device standards.
• Build and maintain secure device workflows, including OTA updates, BLE, and NFC.
• Mentor the engineering team and provide overall technical leadership.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, clinical, and product teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong background in C/C++ and Linux development.
• Experience working in SaMD or medical device environments.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 (or similar regulated standards).
• Proven track record of delivering products to market.
• Must possess valid Australian working rights.
