What you will do

• Investigate and report on national stories under the guidance of experienced senior editors.
• Write various news formats, including wire-service style pieces and in-depth investigative stories.
• Attend two weekly online lectures for professional instruction and peer discussion.
• Build a professional portfolio of quality articles with independent bylines.
• Coordinate work via Slack and email within a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• College student or recent graduate.
• Passion for serious journalism.
• Commitment of 10-15 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
• Must attend two weekly online lectures.
• Open to both US citizens and international applicants.
