What you will do

• Provide subject matter expertise and escalation support for Data Vantage platforms, mentoring and training Cboe staff.
• Liaise with business associates, customers, and software engineers to define and design new features and functions across Data Vantage platforms.
• Serve as a senior technical responder for production incidents, performing analytical functions to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Utilize SQL, UNIX shell, and Cboe proprietary tools to conduct data mining, analyze data, and provide reports.
• Perform daily system startup and health checks, monitoring active production, disaster recovery, and certification/test environment systems.
• Provide customers and sales support and training related to platform behavior, order processing, market structure, and features/functions of Data Vantage platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, FinTech, Financial Services, Communications, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years in a securities-related or technical support position, including experience with options, equities, futures, index, and/or currency market data.
• 5+ years of UNIX / Linux Shell experience, including experience with file transfer processing.
• 4+ years of SQL experience.
• 3+ years of Agile Development Methodology experience.
• Fluency in English is required.

• Mandarin Chinese fluency is highly desirable.
• Korean fluency is desirable.
• Japanese fluency is desirable.
• Familiarity with US equities, options, and/or futures markets.
