What you will do

• Set the overarching technical architecture and multi-year vision for the entire in-car experience stack.
• Identify and resolve cross-team bottlenecks in OS stability, rendering performance, and release automation.
• Steer the technical integration of complex features including 3D car views, AI-driven experiences, and app ecosystems.
• Establish high standards for code health, system reliability, and testing excellence across the organization.
• Provide deep technical mentorship to junior and senior engineers while contributing directly to design and implementation.
• Collaborate across Product, UX, Systems Engineering, and Hardware teams to align on technical direction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical lead delivering solutions for complex, multi-team domains.
• Deep expertise in Android/AOSP, including building platform features and frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Android OS internals, C++ native layers, and modern UI frameworks like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Demonstrated ability to decouple monolithic architectures and optimize resource-constrained environments.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• AI-native mindset with experience deploying agent systems to improve engineering velocity.
