What you will do

• Define and drive the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for new community-focused features.
• Own key product metrics including activation, engagement, retention, and community health.
• Lead cross-functional execution with engineering, design, and data teams to maintain high velocity.
• Conduct structured user research and competitive analysis to ground product decisions in real behavior.
• Represent the product externally to users, partners, and internal leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, specifically within social, messaging, or community platforms.
• Deep understanding of community mechanics, including engagement loops, moderation trade-offs, and network effects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define success through data and structured experimentation.
• Proven ability to lead product development autonomously from strategy to shipment.
• Must be able to work onsite in Geneva or Paris.

Nice to have

• Experience building privacy-respecting alternatives to mainstream social platforms.
• Familiarity with open-source community protocols like atproto, IETF MLS, or Matrix.
• Background in scaling community products from early traction to millions of users.
