What you will do
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of structured cabling, audio/video, security, and other low-voltage ICT systems.
- Manage or lead large and highly complex projects, including schedules, budgets, billing, quality control, and construction support.
- Perform site assessments, prepare technical reports, and develop designs, specifications, calculations, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, executives, clients, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead client interviews and presentations, resolve technical and construction concerns, and manage change orders.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff while supporting research, innovation, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer, information technology, computer science, or a related engineering or STEM field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- At least 14 years of experience in the building design consulting industry; 16 years preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of low-voltage systems, electrical principles, digital and analog signals, IT networking topologies, and protocols.
- Leadership, mentoring, client relationship, communication, analytical, and quality-control skills.
- Proficiency with BIM software and Microsoft Office; willingness to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays.
