Data Scientist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build, train, and iterate on predictive models to support risk mitigation strategies at hirify.global scale.
• Rigorously evaluate model performance, precision, and recall to ensure defenses stand up to adversarial adaptation.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to transition models from notebooks to production.
• Ensure model outputs are transparent and understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, surface adversarial behaviors, and flag emerging attack patterns.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in data science or applied ML.
• Solid foundation in statistical concepts, sampling, and time-series data.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and standard ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience evaluating predictive models in production or production-like settings.
• Hands-on experience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fraud, trust and safety, account takeover, or abuse detection.
• Experience building or supporting ML models in adversarial settings where attackers actively try to evade defenses.
