What you will do

• Provide security monitoring services and optimize monitoring systems for assigned environments.
• Investigate security incidents, find connections, and map complex computer attacks.
• Analyze security threats, evaluate data on potential risks, and prepare internal and external reports.
• Collaborate on the development of new technologies and services for monitoring and identifying security breaches.
• Work with malicious code identification systems and assist in deep analysis of malware.
• Communicate with customers regarding security incidents and provide professional recommendations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including processes, registries, and filesystems.
• Understanding of computer networks (IP addresses, ports, protocols, MAC addresses).
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Batch/CMD, or JavaScript.
• English: Upper intermediate (B2) level required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Prague, Brno, Košice, or Bratislava.

Nice to have

• Education in the IT security field or relevant technical certifications (Windows, Unix, Network Security).
• Practical experience working in a SOC (Security Operations Center).
• Experience with forensics analysis or Incident Response.
• Experience with security monitoring system outputs.
