Location: Remote (teams based in UK, Poland, South Africa; quarterly in-person meetups per country)

What you will do

  • Build and maintain hirify.global’s public-facing marketing websites as the online face of the business.
  • Develop ecommerce integrations with platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, Shopware, and Zapier.
  • Engineer fullstack solutions optimizing performance, security, and visual engagement for global users.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA in agile processes.
  • Adopt AI tools in the SDLC to enhance development workflows.

Requirements

  • Solid modern PHP skills
  • JavaScript proficiency
  • Proven experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Expertise in SASS or CSS preprocessors for performant CSS
  • Strong knowledge of website architecture, UX/UI best practices, and front-end performance
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, git, code reviews, agile (scrum)
  • Debugging and refactoring skills across front-end and back-end
  • Excellent communication and documentation

Nice to have

  • Node.js and Azure Functions
  • Composer, Docker, Nginx, Webpack, Gulp
  • SEO and accessibility best practices
  • PHPStorm or similar IDEs
