What you will do

• Own architecture decisions across services and systems for scalability and resilience
• Design cost-aware systems and act as technical sounding board for engineering teams
• Evaluate and introduce AI agents and automation workflows
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance and reliability
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability in collaboration with product and data teams

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing cloud systems (AWS preferred)
• Deep knowledge of caching, databases, distributed systems, and their tradeoffs
• Production experience with performance, cost, reliability, and failure modes
• Systems thinking beyond individual services
• Integration of AI agents and automation for impact
• Strong communication with engineers and non-engineers
