What you will do

• Design and implement gameplay mechanics like combat, interaction, progression, and abilities using C++ and Blueprints;
• Build UIs with UMG including HUDs, menus, shops, popups, and dialogs connected to gameplay logic;
• Collaborate with Game Designers to create modular, reusable gameplay systems from specs;
• Work with UI/UX Designers to implement wireframes with transitions, animations, and input flows;
• Maintain codebases through refactoring, debugging, and performance optimization;
• Own assigned features from delivery through polish phases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Unreal Engine;
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints;
• Proficient with UMG UI creation, widgets, animations, bindings, and multi-platform input handling;
• Good understanding of gameplay patterns like state machines and event-driven architecture;
• Ability to self-manage small to mid-sized tasks and deliver features;
• Experience with version control (Git, Perforce);
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have

• Slate UI Framework proficiency;
• Experience with multiplayer or networked features;
• Familiarity with GAS or AI behaviour trees;
• Exposure to profiling tools like Unreal Insights.
