TL;DR

What you will do

  • Manage payroll processes for Hong Kong and Taiwan, including salary payments, deductions, and statutory contributions like MPF and IRD.
  • Handle employee lifecycle tasks: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, work passes, probation reviews, and performance cycles.
  • Administer benefits enrollment, claims, insurance, and wellness programs for Hong Kong and Taiwan employees.
  • Maintain HR data in Workday, ensure compliance, support audits, and drive process improvements.
  • Manage Hong Kong office facilities, vendors, events, and day-to-day operations.
  • Respond to employee queries on payroll, benefits, and HR matters promptly.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in HR operations or payroll, ideally regional/cross-border
  • Solid knowledge of Hong Kong payroll, tax, and statutory filings (MPF, IRD, Employment Ordinance)
  • Strong proficiency in Gsuite, Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS (Workday preferred)
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset for continuous improvement

Nice to have

  • Taiwan statutory knowledge (Labour Insurance, National Health Insurance)
