What you will do

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from vendors to ensure timely completion of production orders.
• Monitor and adjust delivery schedules with vendors to meet changing demands and prioritize urgent orders.
• Manage inventory levels to minimize production delays and avoid excessive stock levels.
• Collaborate with production planners and supervisors to communicate delivery status and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify bottlenecks in the delivery process and propose efficiency improvements.
• Report vendor performance and delivery progress to management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience in an expediting or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically MRP or SAP.
• Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken) required.
• Must hold Italian citizenship or Permanent Residency (PR).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality assurance.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Nice to have

• Certification or training in production planning or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement concepts.
• Proficiency in a third language.
