TL;DR

Workday Functional Consultant (Finance): Delivering Workday configurations for finance modules including GL, supplier accounts, billing, and procurement with an accent on requirements gathering, system setup, and end-user support. Focus on implementation projects, AMS ticket management, testing, training, and continuous system improvements.

Location: Port Louis, Mauritius (telecommuting possibilities)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure Workday functional areas like GL, supplier accounts, billing, procurement.
  • Support implementation projects including system design, testing, and go-live.
  • Manage AMS tickets for incidents, service requests, and changes.
  • Execute unit, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Develop training materials, provide end-user support, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain documentation and propose system enhancements.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (ACCA or Part Qualified), Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s in finance is a plus.
  • 3+ years as finance consultant or Big4 experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication in French & English.
  • Proficiency in finance, data analysis, data management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice to have

  • Workday HCM/FIN, Workday Payroll certifications.
  • Experience with Workday or other Finance ERPs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, IT languages.
