What you will do

• Manage on-time and on-budget delivery of movies and series, including all files and ancillary assets.
• Negotiate delivery schedules with external studios, producers, and production companies.
• Collaborate with Japan Post Production and Global Delivery teams on processes and initiatives.
• Oversee QC processes, issue assessment, and mitigation for assigned titles.
• Supervise vendors, advise on technical specs, and escalate issues impacting release plans.
• Contribute to process innovations and updates to technical delivery specifications.

Requirements

• Fluent Japanese speaker
• 3-5 years as post or delivery executive
• 3-5 years with quality control and creation of domestic/international deliverables
• Experience managing multiple projects with aggressive timelines
• Experience with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, UHD, HDR, and film workflows

Nice to have

• Relationships with vendors for DI, sound, mastering, and QC
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Experience in studio-like organizations focused on streaming
• Experience with legal documents and contractual language
• Basic knowledge of sound, dialogue, and music editing/mixing workflows
• Experience with deliverables and distribution across multiple countries
