What you will do

• Lead the development of complex animations and dynamic visual effects for EGM, including real-time and pre-rendered content.
• Drive the creative vision for animation across multiple projects, establishing high standards for quality and player engagement.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and gameplay sequences to maximize excitement.
• Mentor and coach junior animators, providing feedback to ensure successful engine integration.
• Innovate new animation workflows using particle systems and motion graphics.
• Collaborate with Game Designers and Technical Artists to align assets with narrative and gameplay goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional animation experience, with at least 5 years in game development.
• Expert-level proficiency in After Effects, Spine, Maya, and Blender.
• Experience creating and implementing real-time animations in Unity.
• Strong understanding of EGM-specific elements like reel spins, jackpot effects, and attract sequences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Art, Game Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in Reno, NV, US.
