What you will do

• Lead strategic relations and regulatory diplomacy with African financial authorities, specifically the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
• Manage and execute compliance for international frameworks (SOX, DORA) and global standards (PCI DSS, ISO, SOC).
• Audit and adapt security processes to fit the African market to add genuine security value.
• Translate dense regulatory requirements into clear, actionable tasks for internal technical and business teams.
• Monitor African market intelligence to anticipate regulatory shifts and adapt the company strategy.
• Partner with leadership to embed secure frameworks early in the business lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, GRC, or IT Audit.
• Certified expertise in at least one of: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
• Must be based in Lagos, Nigeria to respond locally to the primary regulator (CBN).
• Fluent English (written and oral) is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of international frameworks (SOX, DORA) and standards (PCI DSS, ISO, SOC).
• Proficiency in using LLMs to automate governance administration and accelerate execution.
