What you will do

• Develop computer vision algorithms for environment perception using cameras, LiDAR, and sensors.
• Train and deploy ML models for object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection in autonomous scenarios.
• Implement path planning with decision-making techniques for safe navigation.
• Optimize neural networks for real-time edge deployment on flight hardware.
• Integrate AI/ML with GNC, software, and hardware teams into vehicle systems.
• Build simulations to test algorithms across mission scenarios and analyze performance data.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, ML, Aerospace Engineering, or related
• 5+ years applying deep learning to computer vision or decision-making
• Strong knowledge of sensor fusion, perception, and path planning
• High proficiency in Python/C++ and PyTorch/TensorFlow
• Analytical problem-solving in fast-paced teams

• Reinforcement learning for optimization/control problems
• Simulation environments like Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim
• GNC concepts
