Purchasing Officer

What you will do

• Coordinate departmental purchasing activities from sourcing and quotations through orders, deliveries, invoices, and payment completion.
• Build supplier relationships, manage vendor accounts and online purchasing platforms, and maintain the supplier database.
• Act as the main contact between requestors, suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Administer payment requests, approvals, payment status, budget sheets, and purchasing trackers.
• Monitor supplier pricing and market trends to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or office administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and purchasing software.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
