What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, and formalize functional and system requirements for card issuing and transaction processing flows.
• Translate business needs into system specifications, API definitions, integration contracts, and flow documentation.
• Analyze card transaction lifecycles, including authorization, clearing, chargebacks, disputes, 3DS, and tokenized flows.
• Design and maintain REST APIs, integration mappings, sequence diagrams, and data contracts.
• Collaborate with issuers, product teams, engineering, and payment scheme representatives (Visa/Mastercard).
• Develop and maintain UML, BPMN, and API documentation for end-to-end transaction flows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst in payments, fintech, or card processing.
• Hands-on experience with card issuing or processing platforms.
• Strong understanding of Card Transaction Lifecycle, tokenization, and Visa processing ecosystem.
• General knowledge of PCI DSS, PSD2 / SCA, and GDPR compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be located in Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mastercard or Visa integration and certification processes.
• Exposure to tokenization, 3DS ACS, and fraud/risk platforms.
• Understanding of issuer operational processes and card programs.
