Clinical Specialist (Cochlear Implants)

Clinical Specialist (Cochlear Implants): Provide clinical and technical support to cochlear implant centers, audiologists, and rehabilitation teams throughout the patient pathway with an accent on fitting, optimization, and professional training. Focus on delivering on-site troubleshooting, education sessions, and relationship management to improve outcomes for patients with severe hearing loss.

Location: Field-based role in Belgium and Luxembourg (Benelux), with offices in Vianen (NL) and Groot-Bijgaarden (BE); 60% field work, 20% home office, 20% meetings/trainings; regular travel within Belgium and Luxembourg required

What you will do

• Provide clinical and technical support to cochlear implant centers, audiologists, and hearing professionals.
• Train professionals on cochlear implant systems, sound processors, fitting software, and rehabilitation tools.
• Assist with processor fitting, troubleshooting, and optimization at clinics.
• Deliver on-site and online training sessions, patient information events, and referral activities.
• Manage relationships with CI centers and maintain documentation/compliance.
• Represent the company in the Benelux audiology community and collaborate with the regional team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology
• Fluent in Dutch and French, proficient in English
• Experience in audiology and hearing care
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Service-oriented and collaborative mindset
• Comfortable in clinical and technology-driven environments
• Willingness to travel regularly within Belgium and Luxembourg
• Able to work independently while connected to the team

Nice to have

• Experience with cochlear implants
• Experience with Phonak hearing solutions or bimodal fittings
