What you will do

• Work with Animation Director and Art Director to set and elevate animation quality and express storytelling.
• Provide technical support for animator workflow, production, and implementation of high-quality animations.
• Collaborate with engineers, animators, and technical artists to define, maintain, and improve animation tools and pipeline.
• Give feedback on animations from internal artists and external partners.
• Participate in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
• Work with production to ensure timely completion of animation tasks and collaborate with narrative, design, and art teams.

Requirements

• Hybrid work in Barcelona, Spain
• Expert hand-key animation skills and strong knowledge of animation fundamentals
• 1+ years of professional experience creating animations for games
• Experience with technical implementation of animations in UI and feature development in Unity
• Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, organizational skills, time management, and work discipline
• Online portfolio demonstrating animation and technical art skills
• Experience with game feature development, player experience, story, and previz (After Effects, Photoshop, Animate)

Nice to have

• Proficiency in drawing, texturing, and modeling
• Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects
• Mobile games experience
