Go Developer

Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a global insurance leader to work on core product development, integrations, and payment-related processes.

Remote from anywhere (except Russia, Belarus and Israel)

What you will do

• Build a real-time cross-selling platform and manage the backend for multiple user-facing applications.
• Advance a gRPC-based microservice architecture with a focus on scalability and availability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards across the codebase.
• Take a proactive role in the design and development lifecycle of the platform.

Requirements

• Experience as a Go Developer for 3+ years.
• Solid experience with Golang, Docker, Postgres, RabbitMQ (or Kafka), gRPC, REST API, and Backend testing.
• Understanding of Grafana/Prometheus functions.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Level of English - from Intermediate+ and above.
• Experience building resilient Go applications focused on uptime.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Nomad, Consul, Jaeger, OpenSearch, or Sentry.
