TL;DR

Backend Software Engineer (Golang): Extend, optimize, and support production microservices for high-load payments systems in financial markets with an accent on low-latency computing, reliable architectures, and complex business logic. Focus on developing Go services, integrating with Kafka and PostgreSQL, and innovating for high-volume trading platforms.

Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus. Full relocation support available for you and your family.

Leading trading broker handling 40M+ trades a day with 2,000+ people across 13 countries.

What you will do

  • Develop, test, and maintain microservices in Go.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.
  • Lead full application lifecycle from concept to post-launch support.
  • Create integrations with other teams’ services and assist their integrations.
  • Participate in integration testing and convey task progress effectively.

Requirements

  • Senior knowledge in Golang, understanding its principles.
  • At least 4-5 years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, including EXPLAIN and ANALYZE.
  • Good grasp of Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, Kafka, REST API, microservices, CI/CD, and production support.
  • Advanced English for work and business purposes.
  • Willingness to learn Python.

Nice to have

  • Commercial experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with Kafka Connect.
  • Experience with Clickhouse, MongoDB, Temporal.
