What you will do

• Manually test features, bug fixes, and improvements against acceptance criteria.
• Perform smoke tests and regression checks before every release to ensure core stability.
• Write and maintain test cases and checklists for recurring workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to uncover edge cases.
• Report and track defects in Jira, ensuring resolution before release.
• Contribute to the transition toward automated testing efforts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience working with Jira within agile/Scrum teams.
• English proficiency required (German is a plus).
• Ability to think critically and test beyond the happy path.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with browser developer tools and basic API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Experience with ERP systems or manufacturing/industrial domain knowledge.
• Experience writing basic automated tests or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance testing fundamentals.
