What you will do

• Develop on-device AI features for smart peripherals, including input personalization, predictive shortcuts, and gesture classification.
• Build LLM-backed companion app features and integrate AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) across device, app, and cloud.
• Design and implement device management backends, including provisioning, settings sync, and OTA distribution systems.
• Integrate China-local LLM providers (MiniMax, Qwen, Kimi, DeepSeek) with fallback to international providers.
• Develop sensor data pipelines and implement hardware-software interfaces using USB, BLE, I2C, and UART protocols.
• Collaborate with HW/EE engineers on sensor calibration and physical feedback behaviors like haptic patterns and LED indicators.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js/JavaScript and Python, with comfort reading and writing C/C++.
• Experience developing software on ARM-based SBCs (Raspberry Pi, Jetson Orin Nano, etc.) and Linux system administration.
• Practical experience integrating LLM provider APIs and building AI agent systems.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one smart hardware, IoT, or physical computing project.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Suzhou, China.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dify, LangGraph, or MCP (Model Context Protocol) for agent pipelines.
• Knowledge of HID protocols (USB HID, BLE HID/HOGP) and peripheral MCU communication.
• Experience with embedded display integration (LVGL, SDL2) or web-based companion app UIs.
• Chinese language proficiency for coordinating with local vendors and providers.
