Backend Product Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Backend Product Engineer (Python/TypeScript): Building self-serve internal tooling and AI-augmented workflows for marketing teams to automate the creation of landing pages and campaigns with an accent on agentic systems and platform scalability. Focus on developing MCP servers, LLM-powered tooling, and experimentation platforms to reduce manual engineering overhead.

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY. Relocation support available to NYC or SF.

Salary: $200,000 – $310,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end self-serve tooling that converts repetitive marketing requests into reusable platform capabilities.
• Design and implement agentic and AI-augmented workflows using LLMs and MCP servers with strong guardrails.
• Partner with marketers, designers, and PMs to identify and automate high-leverage workflows.
• Build and optimize the in-house A/B experimentation platform to increase marketing velocity.
• Scale the technical infrastructure of hirify.global.com and the associated internal marketing tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product engineering experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company.
• Proven track record of building internal tools or platforms that materially reduce repetitive manual workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript (Next.js and Sanity CMS ecosystem).
• Comfort building agentic workflows, MCP servers, or LLM-powered tooling.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA (New York or San Francisco).

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing/growth engineering (CMS, paid-ads pipelines, analytics).
• Knowledge of the modern data stack (Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake).
• Experience building experimentation platforms (LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, Statsig).
• Background in SEO/AEO engineering or programmatic page generation.
