What you will do

  • Manage the planning, implementation, and tracking of strategic projects across operations.
  • Oversee moderate to complex projects in industrial engineering, facility management, and administration.
  • Apply corporate Project Execution Management (PEM) methods within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Establish governance for project tracking, portfolios, and steering teams.
  • Lead strategic programs and concept phases for business development of the portfolio.
  • Provide project management training and stewardship to internal project managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in manufacturing or regulated industries.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional, multi-site projects with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO fundamentals, portfolio tracking, and risk management.
  • Experience with NPI, manufacturing transfers, or cost-improvement programs.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, or Lean.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated environments (ISO, MDR, FDA).
