Sustainability & Impact Intern (Hospitality)

Sustainability & Impact Intern (Sustainability/CSR): Supporting the Sustainability Team in managing various impact projects and creating content to drive planet-proof behavior in the hospitality industry with an accent on environmental research and internal communications. Focus on coordinating waste, energy, and water management initiatives and measuring community impact.

Location: Must be legally allowed to live and work in the Netherlands

What you will do

• Support the Sustainability Team in the management and execution of various impact projects.
• Develop internal and external content to promote sustainability initiatives and project outcomes.
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for sustainability-related inquiries and feedback.
• Collaborate with the internal communications team to set up sustainability-focused online communications.
• Conduct research on environmental topics including waste, energy, and water management, as well as social impact and diversity metrics.

Requirements

• Currently studying Sustainable Business, Future Planet Studies, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
• Legally allowed to live and work in the Netherlands.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong interest in sustainability, social impact, and the mission of hirify.global.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with solid storytelling and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and willingness to adopt new digital tools and platforms.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in other European languages.
