What you will do

• Create innovative AI systems to enhance player experiences in the Battlefield universe.
• Solve complex design challenges and build player-focused systems in a cross-disciplinary environment.
• Design holistic systems where multiple subsystems interact to create compelling gameplay.
• Collaborate with cross-studio teams across multiple countries to deliver high-quality shooter experiences.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback to refine systems and ensure high quality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in game design, with a focus on systems and AI.
• Proven track record of shipping titles or creating innovative game concepts, ideally within the shooter genre.
• Advanced proficiency in game scripting languages such as Blueprints, C#, Lua, or similar.
• Deep understanding of current trends in AI/NPC mechanics within the shooter genre.
• Excellent documentation skills to clearly communicate complex systems and design intent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience working with behavior trees.
• Knowledge of historical combat and AI systems.
