What you will do

• Create VFX in Unity using particle systems, shader effects, and animations
• Integrate VFX into features or environments, collaborating with technical artists and developers
• Align with game designers and art leads to build assets per requirements and iterate on feedback
• Maintain game visual style while optimizing assets for mobile performance
• Collaborate across art disciplines, providing technical support as needed
• Communicate updates, blockers, and concerns to production and leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years in mobile game development
• Strong Unity proficiency: asset importing, particles, animations, UI/sprite/canvas, materials
• 2D texturing proficiency (Photoshop)
• 3D modeling experience (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaboration in agile teams
• Understanding of animation principles and timing
• Excellent problem-solving and task ownership

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools for workflow improvement
• Management tools like GitHub and Jira
• Preview sequences in After Effects or similar
• Portfolio with stylized/cartoon effects
