What you will do

• Design architectures and lead server selection and on-prem setup.
• Administer Linux servers, networking, and storage across on-prem and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Own cloud workloads end-to-end, focusing on deployment, scaling, and monitoring via ECS and EKS.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Develop automation scripts and manage system security, patching, and tool integration.
• Collaborate with software architects to develop multi-cloud training pipelines for ML research.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux system administration and networking skills (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and proficiency in AI-assisted coding workflows (e.g., Claude Code).
• Must be based in Armenia (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HPC and job schedulers like Run:ai or Determined.
• Familiarity with ML infrastructure or supporting data science teams.
• Experience with server hardware selection and procurement.
• Experience managing application testing services (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Squid Proxy).
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
