What you will do

• Lead the delivery of complex analytics projects from inception to completion for clients in the SEA region.
• Perform hands-on modeling work and ensure the quality of deliverables through project management.
• Mentor and coach junior team members in the model development process.
• Manage proactive client communication and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and deliver structured model validation and development training courses to clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physical Sciences, or a similar numeric field.
• Expertise in at least two analytical programming languages: SAS, Python, or R.
• Deep understanding of Application, Behaviour, and Collection scorecard development.
• Strong knowledge of linear and logistic regression, as well as segmentation techniques like CHAID and CART.
• Experience with PD, EAD, and LGD model development and validation processes.
• Experience working within financial services or the modeling department of international banks.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms such as Gradient Boost and KNN.
• Knowledge of decisioning and portfolio management in banking and financial services.
• Formal project management qualifications.
