What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data storage, processing, and management solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data processing pipelines to ensure quality and reliability.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, patching, and database administration processes.
• Monitor and fine-tune database performance for high-volume workloads.
• Establish data standards and security measures for compliance and protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DBA, IT Infrastructure Administrator, or Cloud Engineer.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Knowledge of database automation frameworks and architecture processes.
• Advanced English level (C1) for fluent business and technical communication.
• Must be located in Panama City, Panama.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Data Engineer, or AWS equivalents.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing technology vendors and providers.
