What you will do

• Develop 3D SolidWorks models, parts, and assembly drawings for electrical switchgear and Low Voltage Assembly equipment.
• Generate detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings aligned with specifications.
• Provide design support to senior engineers and assist with project setup and BOM loading.
• Compile technical drawing packages, manage document control, and coordinate with teams to meet schedules.
• Participate in testing, validation, and resolution of design challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain disciplined documentation practices.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Two-Year Technical Degree in Engineering or Drafting.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed engineering environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical switchgear or Low Voltage Assembly design.
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies.
• Knowledge of BOM creation, engineering change processes, and document control.
