What you will do

• Lead design of end-to-end distributed architectures with robust data synchronization and conflict resolution.
• Drive migration from monolithic to modular microservices across multiple regions.
• Implement regional deployment patterns, traffic routing, failover, and disaster recovery for high availability.
• Design compliant systems for data residency regulations like GDPR and PDPA.
• Utilize Kubernetes and containers for scalable cloud deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and define best practices for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years software engineering, 3+ years in architecture/leadership.
• Experience with microservices in cloud (AWS/GCP), monolithic to microservices migration.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge: multi-region, service mesh, failover, consistency.
• Cloud-native tech: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Data residency compliance (GDPR, PDPA, CCPA).
• Excellent communication and architectural documentation skills.
