What you will do
- Design and develop screen recording and streaming features on Windows.
- Implement and optimize video encoding/decoding pipelines using hardware accelerators like NVENC, AMD AMF, Intel QuickSync.
- Work with video codecs H.264, H.265 (HEVC), AV1 and audio codecs AAC, Opus for high-performance apps.
- Collaborate with teams for real-time, low-latency, high-quality media processing.
- Debug video/audio streaming issues related to latency and encoding quality.
- Stay updated on video encoding standards and streaming technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in video/audio encoding/decoding and hardware accelerators (NVENC, AMD AMF, Intel QuickSync).
- Deep knowledge of video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1) and audio codecs (AAC, Opus).
- Experience with libraries like FFmpeg, OBS, Media Foundation, ZLMediaKit, Sunshine, Moonlight or GStreamer.
- Knowledge of streaming protocols: RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC, HLS.
- Skills in image processing: OpenGL, Direct3D; strong C/C++ with performance optimization.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
